Ford F150 5.0L 4WD Crew Cab Regular bed 3.872” 1350 Series Carbon Fiber DriveShaft with SONNAX Billet Slip Yoke and1350 Series NEAPCO Performance U-Joints
Application:
2015 - up: Automatic F150 5.0L Crew Cab Regular bed 4WD
Product Description:
We build each 1350 series driveshaft with 3.5” ID x .186 carbon fiber tubing, 2024 aluminum bond yokes, SONNAX billet slip yoke, rear 4 bolt flange yoke, and NEAPCO 1350 series Performance u-joints. You will reuse original hardware. All driveshafts are high speed balanced over 5,000 rpm for performance application on our new Coetz Balancer. A driveshaft balance print out sheet will be provided with each order, giving you peace of mind knowing your driveshaft is balanced within industry standard tolerance. We also provide an in house torque test of each carbon fiber driveshaft assembly before shipping. This ensures the bond is solid and your driveshaft will hold up under high torque application. We are 1 of only 3 shops in America offering in house torque testing on every complete carbon fiber shaft assembly.
Components*:
- We use 3.75” OD x .186 wall carbon fiber tubing from Composite Drivelines. The .186 wall is an upgraded, thicker wall than the traditional .125 and .155 wall tubing, providing more strength and durability due to length of this driveshaft.
- We use a 2024 aluminum bondable yokes for additional strength
- We use a billet slip yoke from SONNAX and 4 bolt flange on the rear
- We use only NEAPCO Performance 1350 series solid cross non greaseable U-Joints in all of our performance and racing shafts.
Please keep heat in excess of 300 degrees away from bonded areas for extended periods of time.
Please check for any clearance issues. Check the driveshaft tunnel for any bolts, heat shield rub, exhaust clearance, shifter clearance, etc. Make sure nothing rubs the driveshaft. This is your responsibility.
*Due to circumstances beyond our control, the supply chain is very broken. Back orders are unfortunately impacting all industries with extensive lead times. We will do our best to purchase all parts as listed by vendor, but from time-to-time other vendors may be used. If this is the case, we will give you an option to use the currently available parts, or wait until the listed parts come in. We only use the very best components in our driveshafts!
