Product Description:  We build our carbon fiber Corvette driveshafts with our very own designed, CNC Machined, 7075 aluminum bond flanges versus the commonly used 6061,  which increases the strength of our flanges significantly.  Our proprietary flanges were specially designed with a shorter neck for use with a stud and nut kit, instead of the traditional long bolts, which are prone to breaking.  This allows for more carbon fiber tubing to be utilized, reducing the weight of the driveshaft. Our driveshaft is a rubber coupler delete design and bolts directly to the factory flanges.  We eliminate the need for the couplers, which are susceptible to deformation and ultimately failure.

We use 3.25” carbon fiber tubing suppled by Amalga Composites in Wisconsin (https://compositedrivelines.com/).  As with all our other carbon fiber driveshafts, the Corvette carbon fiber driveshaft assembly will be torque tested in house on our custom designed and built static torque test machine https://youtu.be/K5gvFQZWaIc.  What sets us apart is the fact that we test every complete assembly, not just the tubing like our main competitors, to ensure a proper bond.  This ensures the customer will not have to worry about a bond failure after install. Each driveshaft will then be high speed balanced on our Coetz Shaft Expert 300 https://youtu.be/OMfRd9MsKyY.  We then provide a detailed printed balance report showing precise perfect balance well within industry standards.
